To ensure maximum privacy for our users, the App is designed to operate primarily offline and locally on your device.

* No Account Required: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal identifiers (such as name, email, or phone number) to use the App.

* No Telemetry or Tracking: We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or track your GPS location.

* No User-to-User Sharing: The App does not contain social features, messaging, or capabilities to share user-generated content over the internet.

Local Data Storage (On-Device)

The App utilizes local device storage to save your settings and preferences. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

* Vocabulary and Custom Words: Any custom words, phrases, or images you add to the App are saved locally using device storage.

* Predictive Text Engine: The App includes a self-learning prediction feature to assist with communication. The data used to predict your next word or category is generated and stored completely offline on your device. We do not monitor, record, or harvest the sentences you build.

* Local Backups: You have the option to create backups of your data. Any backups created within the App are saved securely to your device’s local storage. We do not automatically upload or sync these backups to our own servers.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because Sada operates primarily offline and does not use user accounts or centralized servers, you have full control over your data.

* App Data (Stored on Device): We do not retain your in-app data (custom words, settings, local backups, or prediction history) on our servers because we never collect it. This data is retained locally on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. How to delete: You can permanently delete all your app data at any time by uninstalling the Sada application from your device, or by clearing the App's data within your device's system settings.

* Technical Support Data: If you contact us via email or WhatsApp, we retain the communication history only for as long as necessary to resolve your support inquiry. How to delete: You can request the immediate deletion of your support communication history and contact details at any time by sending an email to redjimi23zakaria@gmail.com or messaging us directly on our WhatsApp support number.

Third-Party Services

While the App does not collect personal data on our end, it does communicate with specific third-party APIs strictly to provide core communication and translation functionality. You have control over how your data is processed for voice generation:

* Voice Generation (Offline vs. Online TTS):

- Offline Text-to-Speech (Default): The App can utilize your device’s native TTS engine (such as Google offline TTS). When using this, your speech data is processed entirely locally on your device and is never sent to the internet.

- Online Text-to-Speech (Optional): For a better speaking experience, you may actively choose to connect to online TTS engines from Google and Amazon (Polly). When using online AI voices, the text you type is sent securely to these services strictly to generate high-quality audio in real-time. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy and Amazon’s Privacy Notice for details on how they handle service data.

* Image Search APIs: If you use the App's search feature to find new custom icons, your search query (e.g., "water") is sent to third-party image providers, specifically Pixabay and ARASAAC (Aragonese Portal of Augmentative and Alternative Communication), to retrieve relevant images. No personally identifiable information is sent with these requests, though providers may log standard technical data (like IP addresses) to fulfill the request.

* Translation Services: The App uses Google Translate to assist users with translating text between different languages. Text submitted for translation is sent securely to Google’s servers to process the request.

These third-party services are governed by their own respective privacy policies.

Technical Support via WhatsApp

If you choose to contact us for technical support via the provided WhatsApp number:

We will see your phone number and any information you choose to share in the chat. This information is used only by us to provide support and resolve your technical issues. We do not use this for marketing or sell it to third parties.

Because WhatsApp is a service provided by Meta, your communication data is processed through their infrastructure. We recommend reviewing WhatsApp's Privacy Policy for more information on how Meta handles this data.

Permissions Required

The App may request the following device permissions to function properly:

* Storage/Photos: Required only if you choose to select a custom photo from your device's gallery to use as an icon for a custom word, or to save/restore your local backups.

* Network Access: Required to fetch optional high-quality AI voices, translate text, and download optional images from the provided third-party libraries.

Children’s Privacy

While the App may be used by individuals of all ages, it does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. All usage data remains locally on the device. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information through support channels like WhatsApp, they should contact us immediately at redjimi23zakaria@gmail.com so we can delete the conversation.
